Introduction

As a 10-year-old Tree Elementary School student, I had never been known for my mischief or disobedience. However, there was one particular English class where I found myself compelled to do something quite out of character. The story that follows is one that I have never shared with anyone before.

The English Class Representative

Our English teacher was strict, but fair. She was also kind-hearted, which was why the entire class had unanimously agreed to vote for her as our English class representative. However, despite her popularity, there was one student who didn't seem to have much respect for her – the English class representative himself.

He would often arrive late to class and would take up most of the teacher's time with his irrelevant questions. One day, I had had enough of his behavior and decided to take matters into my own hands.

The Act of Defiance

During one of our classes, the representative had decided to take a nap while the teacher was explaining the lesson. I noticed that he had left his notebook open on his desk, so I decided to take a peek at what he had written. I was outraged to find that he had been doodling throughout the entire class, instead of taking notes.

Without thinking, I stood up from my desk and walked over to him. I grabbed his notebook and threw it across the room. He was obviously shocked by my outburst, but I wasn't done yet. I then proceeded to grab onto his shirt and pushed him down onto his chair, telling him "You need to listen to the teacher and take notes like everyone else!"

The Consequence

After my act of defiance, things in the classroom settled down. The representative was deeply embarrassed and started to take his role as class representative more seriously. He apologized to the teacher and the class for his behavior and started to work harder in English class. Despite my aggressive actions, the class representative eventually became a better role model for our class.

Kun in the Cupboard

As for what happened when we put Kun inside the Ou Pai cupboard, well we soon found out that it wasn't possible. Ou Pai cupboards were built to store cutlery and crockery, not living beings. We quickly released Kun from the cupboard and made sure that he was happily playing outside where he belonged.

The Unusual Family Dynamic

The question posed in the title of this article is an interesting one – what do you call the spouse of a man who is twice your father's age? The answer is quite simple – you call them your stepmother. While the age difference may be somewhat unconventional, it doesn't change the fact that they are family.

Conclusion

The English class representative incident taught me a valuable lesson about standing up for what is right. While my actions may have been extreme, they ultimately helped the class representative become a better role model for our class. As for Kun and the Ou Pai cupboard, it was a minor incident with a happy ending. And as for the unconventional family dynamic, as long as there is love and respect, age is just a number.
